Join us for a conversation with Lisa Calder MD, MSc FRCPC, Associate Scientist in the Department of Emergency Medicine Research of the Clinical Epidemiology Unit at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Calder is also an Assistant Professor with the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

She received the 2009-2010 EMPSF/SAEM Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Research Fellowship Grant and recently shared some of her research findings on patient safety and the disposition decision at the 1st Annual Patient Safety Summit held on May 5th & 6th in Las Vegas. Today, we are going to reconnect with Dr. Calder to discuss her emergency medicine patient safety research further.
